Much information is being drawn to my attention now pertaining to the concept of frequency, and how “vibrating” at the right frequency is the key to better health, happiness and ultimately the unfoldment and progression along a spiritual path. It is for the latter reason that this post serves as my second “F” submission for The Pagan Blog Project.

Kevin T and The Law Of Attraction

In a rather spectacular CD series by Kevin Trudeau that is essentially about the Law Of Attraction, he goes into specifics about how our feelings and thoughts generate energy that is sent into the world like signals and thus attracts similar situations, people or things that match that vibration. Over 12 CD’s I got to hear about various examples of how this has been used over the years by various secret societies of the world.

I had recently purchased the book “The Secret”, and found that the abovementioned CD info gave a more in depth presentation of The Law Of Attraction with some solid techniques that I have begun putting in place. Perhaps the buying of the book (suggested by one of my teachers) and the subsequent reading of it raised my vibration in a way that attracted the CD set into my life (also sourced and sent to me by the same teacher!! Thank you Peter!)

Raising my vibe

The quotes and phrases below have been laminated and put up at key places in my home in a bid to raise and keep my frequency high.

I have actually carried this around on a little plastic flashcard for some years in my wallet: only now does it really make sense

This last quote, which is from a channelled entity called Abraham, had a coincidence with an issue in my life where I was really not enjoying one of the venues I contract for. No matter who I discuss this particular venue with, this building (and in particular a certain room) seems to be most unpleasant to work and be in. The clientele that frequent the venue seem to be very at home there, and are particularly obnoxious when actually in that room. I have observed the same folks elsewhere and there behaviour is no where near as pronounced. My assessment is that the room has a “bad”,  low frequency and I have since quit most of my contracts there.

The channellings of Lyssa Royal

This is not the first time I have considered frequency as a concept. In the 90’s, I was very tuned in to the work of Lyssa Royal, a channel that facilitated information by beings claiming to be extraterrestrial. They spoke about frequency in terms of density, and say that their world is like ours but exists at a different density that vibrates faster than ours.

Her and another entity called Bashar really got me open to the fact that maybe what we need is right there but we just can’t see it yet, having not raised our frequency enough to do so.

I met Lyssa in the 90's when I attended one of her conferences in Melbourne; she is a really nice lady! I have read most of her books

So if it is all about frequency – there is no real good or evil, just vibration – where does that leave us?

Free of slavery I expect. Free of fulfilling another’s wish or submitting to a particular dogma, and the very real reality of facing one’s own truth. Well, that is my thinking on it now.

Is it really as simple as looking at a palette and exploring the different colours therein, and painting your world with the ones you like? This is what I am beginning to suspect.

I wonder if Netjer is the name we give super beings that vibrate at supernova frequencies beyond our comprehension? What we know and understand of them – so carefully preserved and protected for us by the dear ancients and revealed to us through the hard work of dedicated Egyptologists – is the most physical expression that we can know in this dimension, in physical form.

I do know that They like images of Themselves to be erected around the place. They emanate through Their statues and paintings. I am certain that the ancient texts also hold their own frequency that initiates a greater vibration when they are read.

Netjer and Senut

I performed a Senut last weekend, and a curious physical vibration related phenomena occurred subsequently to it.

During the Senut, interaction occurred with some Netjeru that are not normally “in my crew” so to speak, and it appears that these Netjeru are very much associated with the re-emergence of Netjer into the modern world today. (I have observed from posts on various Kemetic boards that These Two are like the heralds, the initiators).

During the interaction, a Netjer that I have often noticed “around” on the periphery of my awareness over the years was mentioned. She did not step into the Senut arena herself, but I was made aware that she has a role to play in my unfolding further down the track.

I have taken to using a scrying bowl in my magickal practice and had one set up for the Senut as a means of communication for Netjer should They require it. It is a clear glass bowl with water and oil in it. During the Senut, nothing appeared. I left it on my altar.

The next day when I came back into my Shrine Room to clean up / remove offerings, incense etc, I glanced into the bowl, and there She was:

This image is unmistakenbly vulture! To me, unmistakeably Nekhbet!

It is the head of a vulture. And indeed, it was Nekhbet that I was referring to above!

A week later the pattern remains. I don’t want to move it. The vibrations that formed this image are in my mind, Divine.

And I think this a most fitting way to end a discussion on frequency.

Dua Nekhbet! Dua Netjer!

Falcon Headed One

You of the falconiform manifestations,

Reveal Yourself to me

In all your Divine might!

A beautiful man, warrior, healer, god,

Your many forms all speak

Of the Netjerhood to which

You belong, and from whence You came.

As Heru-Sa-Aset and Heru-Wer

You are the mysterious uncle and son

Separate but also One,

Children of the Sun.

As Hor-Behdety

You are the Winged Disk

As Sopdu and Sokar

Your stellar nature is revealed.

In Montu and Antewy

Your Other nature

Has come forth.

Your avian majesty speaks to me

And tells me that I too can grow wings.

Lord Heru You are my Ba.

May I be a glorious manifestation for you!

This poem and my painting is
an offering to Lord Heru;
it is also my "F" submission for the

A wonderful articulation / musings on my non-religious approach to Kemeticism

After scouring Helmsman Of Yinepu's new look blog, I came across this superb articulation of honouring and relating to Netjer that very closely resembles my thoughts and approach to the subject: it is by Richard Reidy and is found on the FAQ to his Kemetic Temple site.

If you have been following my blog you will know that I do not consider myself religious and do not subscribe to a religion or religious organisation as such. I have an in built religion avoidance mechanism. (I believe that there is a reason for this which I will articulate in a post one day further down the track). I refer to my interactions with Netjer as my "Kemetic Practice".

I do however consider Mr. Reidy to be one of my teachers. I use his "Eternal Egypt" book as part of my (non-religious) Kemetic practice.

The same can be said of Reverend Siuda. "The Egyptian Prayerbook" is another cornerstone of my practice. I can only barely contemplate the devotion and love that she has for Netjer when I think about what it must take to establish a religion and community.

And seeing as I am mentioning teachers and books of theirs that I use in my practice there is also Don Webb. "The Seven Faces Of Darkness" also figures in my practice these days as I understand and work with magick more.

I am certainly grateful for my teachers and one day, hope to gain audience with them. They are on my list of people I want to meet before I am done here.

Exploring Netjer Today

“Exploring Netjer Today” is the subtitle of the header of this blog, indicating it's purpose and what it is about. This post is also my second “E” post for the Pagan Blog Project.

Almost a year ago I began the blog with  a post about the momentum of a new wave of spiritual unfolding and consciousness unfolding in my life again. My journey has taken me ever deeper into the realms of Netjer, and the blog is here as a testament for those interested in how I documented most of the journey.

One of the major things to emerge for me has been how to bring into understanding in this age and this time just Who and What Netjer is. Or, to reference the title of this post and blog again, Who are They today? How do They apply?

The mass  re-emergence of Ancient Egyptian phenomena occurred in the 1920’s so powerfully that the term “Egyptomania” was coined. Primarily as a result of the world’s fascination with the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb, this was the first time in the modern era that Egypt became such a world focus en masse. (Check out this Vanity Fair pictorial where you can see a series of American theatres that took up an Egyptian theme from that era and that still exists today). The Egyptomania period came only a century after we were able for the first time in almost 2000 years to be able to accurately read Egyptian hieroglyphs, thanks to the decipherment of the Rosetta Stone in 1822.

Artistic and cultural expressions are further explored throughout this blog with external recognitions (like this colossal statue of Anpu for example ) and my own artistic explorations so I don’t want to recover that ground again here in this post; what I am truly interested in is How the Netjeru manifest today, globally, and how can that bring meaning to today’s era? How do we integrate, embrace, and understand Netjer in our current era?

In a trip to New Zealand last year I enjoyed some kayaking in the exceptional mountains of that beautiful place. I found myself wondering, “Can I find Netjer here, in the lofty trees and crystals waters of this place so far from Egypt, and how do I find it manifesting if so?” (A blog I came across as part of the Pagan Blog Project expressed an interesting point about the Kemetic Gods being "too local", which I found just as I was writing this post)

The short answer is yes. I sense Netjer in essence in situations like this, but perhaps without the “gear” that designates Netjer as Kemetic as such. The sky over the landscape I was enjoying in NZ was still Nut, but maybe without the Kemetic flavour of the starry body, the stylised eyes and the other representations that define Nut for us in Egyptian art. But in essence indeed it was still Nut!

Is it then to be argued that this was not Nut, but the Maori goddess equivalent? Perhaps for a Maori person, yes.

What I am finding is that as I immerse myself in the World of The Great Ones, I begin to experience phenomena through Their framework. This framework has given me “software” for understanding and grasping spiritual concepts that I might not have otherwise. This is the software that I am programmed with, and so this is how I relate to and interpret the data of the world as it comes by.

The immersion I speak of still involves my version of Senut, my approach and interaction with Netjer at Shrine, and increasingly these days, magick.

So with my “Kemetic software”, how do I deal with modern technology and life as it has evolved in this era? I refer to the works of R.A. and Isha Schwaller de Lubicz* whom documented well the “grand plan” that the ancients expressed through the monuments bequeathed to us from the civilisation of Kemet. Where are we now, in this grand plan? Did the grand plan reveal that the Netjeru would essentially disappear for a couple of thousand years to re-emerge in a strange epoch where we are still struggling to understand the most basic of spiritual concepts, let alone the sophisticated and highly evolved thought of that previous epoch?

Part of my exploration of Netjer today has found me exploring modern takes on Egyptian art, religion, thought and even notions of medicine and approaches to aromatherapy for example. Reading blogs of those that consider themselves worshippers, interested parties and devotees of Netjer is also included. Good, bad, or indifferent, I have observed something here, along with many other phenomena of mystery that seems to be emerging:

The underlying sense is that a Great Unknown is trying to make itself manifest now, in a way that it did not – and perhaps could not have – before. Expressions of the Netjeru are a part of this.

When I seek answers to the grand questions of who we are and why we are here, the answer I get – never complete, never a real answer, but more a clue – is always Kemetic. And usually a Netjer or reference to One. Why this happens is in and of itself a mystery, but it is one that has spurred me on, taking me this far.

That Divine Pantheon that we call the Netjeru has delivered It’s software; and I, in my new epoch meat machine and with my haphazardly assembled soul parts, am looking to understand just Who the software creators are, and who am I in relation to Them.

I think that that understanding and assimilating of it is complex. Maybe the software we possess now is different to the ancients? Maybe we have devolved?

I am looking forward to another year of sharing my explorations with you my readers, and let’s see if we can make sense of more of this enigmatic phenomenon that are our human lives. As I continue to explore Netjer today, I will definitely post what I deem appropriate.

*The two Her Bak tomes go into the concept of the spiritual “mission” of each epoch and relate it primarily to the astrological eras that civilisation has moved through in a fictional account of an initiate's journey from the outer to inner temple

Eighteenth Utterance

My submission for the first "E" of the Pagan Blog Project is one of my favourite utterances from the Pyramid Texts, utterance eighteen.

Here it is rendered in English on papyrus (with a little photoshopping for ease of reading):
